Is there a line that comedians can’t cross?
Comic Judy Gold knows the value of a good joke – and the steep price of silencing comedians. Based on her book 'Yes, I Can Say That: When They Come for the Comedians, We Are All in Trouble', the comedy veteran tackles the thorny topic in a new one-woman show.
Join us for this Industry Experts Panel discussing the question: “Are there limits to artistic expression–especially comedy?” Our special guests will also talk about the creative collaboration process and the evolution of a project from the written page to the stage.
Panelists:
• Judy Gold, Playwright & Performer
• BD Wong, Director
• Eddie Sarfaty, Playwright
Presented by the School of Media Studies at the Schools of Public Engagement.
