How does The New School solicit donations from alums and other donors?
How does gift-giving impact the financial sustainability of the university?
What is an endowment, and what is the current value of The New School’s endowment?
How does the endowment impact the university’s annual budget?Â
In this virtual interactive session, discover how the university raises money from individual donors and manages its endowment to respond to current and future financial needs. Following a brief introduction, community members will have an opportunity to ask Jonah Nigh, Senior VP of Development and Alumni Engagement, about the university’s current approach to gift-giving and endowment management. Questions from current students, alumni, faculty, and staff are welcome.Â
Co-hosted by the Expanded University Budget Committee and Financial Transparency Council, this session is the first session in an ongoing series of financial information Q&As. This session will be recorded and posted on the Financial Transparency Council website.
