Over the past year, The New School has been undergoing a reaffirmation of its accreditation with the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, the university’s accrediting body. All accredited universities undergo a similar process, typically on a ten-year cycle. Join Paul Kramer, Assistant Provost, Compliance and Accreditation, and Grace Hindman, University Registrar, to learn more about this vital area of university operations. Among other topics, this session will explore how the accreditation process holds the university accountable for how it allocates its resources in a manner that aligns with its core mission.
Co-hosted by the Expanded University Budget Committee and the Financial Transparency Council, this session is part of an ongoing series of financial information Q&As. Please note: this session is open to the internal community only and will require an @newschool.edu email to RSVP. This session will be recorded and posted on the Financial Transparency Council website.
