The Cabinet of Bureaucratic Wonders is an immersive experience that invites participants into the fantastic realm of a bureaucratic fairy tale to engage in interactions with mundane objects that provoke critical reflections on the nature of bureaucracy and the tensions of public service. It is designed for and in close collaboration with public servants from NYC and Brasilia.

Earlier this year, an exhibition was held by the Cabinet in Brasilia in partnership with the National School of Public Administration and engaged over 30 municipal and federal public servants. Participants especially appreciated the space to explore and probe their own experiences, with one sharing afterwards that the installation offered a "nostalgic and emotional moment of reflection" on their career in public service.

When visiting the Cabinet, participants will be invited to browse the various objects on display, participate in a series of interactions, and engage in a quick reflection conversation with us. To allow for a more immersive experience, we are asking for folks to reserve a 30-minute time slot between April 7-9 to visit the Cabinet.
