Join Joshua Katcher and Hazel Clark for a special screening of SLAY (2022), an investigative documentary exposing the hidden environmental and ethical costs of fashion’s use of animal-derived materials. Following the screening, Katcher—North America Hub Strategist at Canopy, Board Member at Collective Fashion Justice, co-host of the Fashion, Really? podcast, sustainable and Next Gen fashion expert, author of Fashion Animals (2019), and SLAY contributor—will engage in a conversation with Hazel Clark, Professor of Design Studies and Fashion Studies and Director of the MA Fashion Studies program at The New School. Together, they will explore the film’s revelations and discuss pathways toward a better fashion industry. An audience Q&A will follow.
