Parsons Interior Design Programs are honored to host Sheila Bridges, renowned Interior Designer and Parsons alumna, for the first event of the annual SCE Public Programs Series!

Recognized as America’s Best Interior Designer by both Time magazine and CNN, Sheila Bridges is a groundbreaking figure in the design industry. 

On Thursday, September 25, 2025, students from all three of Parsons' Interior Design programs (AAS, BFA, and MFA) will engage Sheila Bridges in a conversation that explores her insights on the future of design and the pressing issues facing designers today.

A globally recognized designer, Sheila Bridges resides and works between Harlem, Hudson, NY, and Reykjavik, Iceland. For over thirty years, she has created spaces and objects for high-profile clients, including the official residence of Vice President Kamala Harris and the Harlem offices of President Bill Clinton. Her visually impactful cultural translations have been exhibited in prestigious museums worldwide, including The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Smithsonian Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum, Musée des Beaux-Arts in Montreal, and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
