This fall we will celebrate the intellectual legacy and cherish the memory of our late teacher, mentor, and colleague, Professor Robin Wagner-Pacifici. Throughout her career, Robin shaped the field of scoiology with her cultural approach to history’s moments of political violence and conflict. Robin also influenced many of her advisees and colleagues at The New School and beyond, who will come together at this conference to reflect on how her work now continues in theirs. The day of intellectual engagement with Robin’s work will end with an open mic session at which all are welcome to share memories and thoughts. This event is open to the public.
