Organized by former PhD students, Reimagining Work, Wealth, and Aging: Teresa Ghilarducci’s Impact on Economics and Policy will showcase Professor Ghilarducci's contributions to building the field of economics. The conference aims to foster discussions on labor economics, retirement policy, the political economy of aging and alternative economic theories, reflecting Ghilarducci’s ongoing impact on research and policy. The conference will bring together scholars whose work reflects Professor Ghilarducci's influence on heterodox and feminist economics.
The event will run from 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM. Panels one and two will take place in Starr Foundation Hall (63 5th Avenue, UL102). The lunch roundtable discussion and third panel will take place in Wollman Hall (65 W. 11th Street, 5th floor).Â
