A media artist from Tatarstan, Alina investigates the material and cultural implications of technology through XR, AI, textiles, digital simulation, and gaming engines. She creates complex worlds that explore how emerging and established technologies shape ways of knowing, living, and becoming for both humans and non-humans. She is an Assistant Professor of Computation at the Illinois School of Architecture, with previous research residencies at the Canadian Centre for Architecture and Strelka Institute. Her work has been exhibited at the Venice Biennale of Architecture, FutureArts Seattle, Boston Cyberarts, and DA Z, among others.
A socially-engaged artist and educator, Carrie investigates the relationships between humans and machines, technology and power, and language and alienation. Working across interactive experiences, video, installation, and performance, she has presented work at the New Museum, Onassis Foundation, Rhizome, ACM SIGGRAPH, and A.I.R. Gallery. She is the creator of Whose AI?, a series of hands-on workshops designed for underserved youth to explore AI’s social implications. A 2024 fellow at Pioneer Works and a 2023 More Art fellow, Carrie also teaches at NYU.
An artist and researcher from West Bengal, India, Sutanuka explores the intersection of art, culture, and technology through immersive installations that engage with contemporary issues. Her work has been presented at platforms such as Yaga Gathering (Lithuania), Medialab Matadero (Madrid), Cambridge Science Festival at Harvard University, and UAAD (New York), where she examined the relationship between history, AI, and ecological futures. Currently a Visiting Scholar at CAMLab, Harvard University, she continues to push creative boundaries, using art to inspire dialogue and reflection on the complexities of the modern world.
