The Annual Printing Fashion Festival takes place on April 25 and 26 at the Fondazione Sozzani in Paris. This year’s two-day event is a collaboration between The New School Parsons Paris, Reading Room and the Fondazione Sozzani.

The Festival features a publishing fair where independent fashion magazines, resellers, and collectors will showcase and sell their publications. Curated by Reading Room, the fair provides a unique opportunity to meet and acquire a handpicked selection of fashion printed matter, and to connect with international publishers and magazines both inside and outside fashion-specific printed media. Alongside the fair, Printing Fashion will also host a series of public talks with publishers, journalists, editors, curators and academics, exploring the theme of “techniques” in the printing industry. The talks will present various examples of publications working on techniques and histories of printing and graphic design; strategies of publishing as political resistance; aesthetics and representations of technical tools in publishing; techniques of fashion writing and many more.
In parallel to the Festival, the MA of Fashion Studies at The New School Parsons Paris will present two exhibitions developed by the students of the program. One installation will feature the collaboration with Palais Galliera Musée de la Mode de Paris, investigating the museum’s collection of Art and Graphics and contextualising printed matter from a historical perspective. A second installation, entitled ‘Research Folios’, will showcase selected thesis research from the 2025 Graduating Class.
