Parsons MFA Textiles presents Passage Patterns: an Industry Partnership with Aquafil-Econyl® and the United Nations IOM (UK). Students in the Textile Industry Partnership 2 course developed and made innovative textiles to visualize data of migration patterns from different parts of the world using a variety of Aquafil's sustainable Econyl® yarns.Â
The MFA Textiles studio serves as an innovation hub where students are guided to expand and explore the boundaries of what textiles can do, thus serving the industry both conceptually as well as through the creation of prototypes.
Join us for a reception to celebrate this successful collaboration with our partners and view textiles that convey the very human stories of migration.
