The Adobe × Parsons Not Generated Final Showcase is an evening gathering marking the culmination of a semester-long collaboration exploring how generative AI is reshaping creative practice, authorship, and responsibility.
Â
Bringing together students, faculty, and industry professionals, the showcase presents a curated selection of work developed through the Adobe x Parsons Creative AI Lab and Symposium. The evening offers a window into how emerging designers are engaging generative tools within their own processes, and how questions of intention, authorship, and responsibility are being actively negotiated in practice.
Â
Through project presentations, keynote remarks, and panel discussion, the event invites a broader public into the Not Generated inquiry: how the future of creative process is not simply generated, but consciously shaped by human intention, judgment, and choice.
Â
Open to students, faculty, Adobe staff, and members of the wider creative, design, strategy, and technology communities in New York City.
Student Project Presentations
A selection of undergraduate and graduate student projects developed through the Creative AI Lab and related coursework. Students will present work that explores generative AI as part of their creative process, including applications of Adobe Firefly tools and workflows.
Â
Speculative Artifacts Exhibition
A series of future-oriented artifacts co-designed during the Creative AI Lab, examining alternative directions for creative practice in the context of AI. These works extend beyond current tools to question how creative processes may evolve.
Â
Keynote Address
A keynote from a leading voice in the creative and technology space (speaker TBA), reflecting on the evolving role of human creativity in an AI-enabled landscape.
Â
Networking and Informal Conversation
An opportunity to connect with students, faculty, Adobe partners, and New York-based professionals across creative and technology fields.
The Final Showcase is the third and concluding event in the Not Generated series, following the University Symposium and the Adobe Creative AI Lab. While it marks the close of the spring 2026 program, it also opens a broader conversation around how institutions, industry, and emerging practitioners might continue to shape creative futures together.
Presented by Parsons School of Design Strategies and Adobe.
