The orchestra’s spring season opens on February 28 with the World Premieres of Mannes alum JL Marlor’s Saltwater Lung, winner of the Martinů Prize in 2023 and The World Inside by Mannes alum Alex Glass, winner of the 2024 Martinů prize, presented with Sibelius’s rarely performed The Wood Nymph, Op. 15.
*In addition, this program will feature a performance by the winner of the 2025 George and Elizabeth Gregory Concerto Competition - artist and repertoire to be announced!
