Join us for night two of the Chamber Music Festival Concert Series: a fun-filled night of keyboard-only ensembles! Featuring music for 1-piano/4-hands, 1-piano/6-hands, and 2 pianos, and spanning from Schubert and Mozart through Ligeti and Bolcom, a night like this has not happened within the chamber music program at Mannes ever before.
Early through Late Romanticism: From Bottesini through Rachmaninoff

Join us for the third concert of the Chamber Music Festival Concert Series, as we cross through the entire range of the Romantic period. Featuring duos, trios, quartets, and quintets by some of the great composers of the later half of the Common Practice Period, this afternoon concert will be memorable!

Join us for our first night of a special showcase on modern music! Featuring music from the early classics of Ravel through music composed by Ewazen in the 1990s, this night highlights how music has developed since the beginning of the “modern” era of composition.
German and Austrian Music of the Pre-Romantic Era
Monday, 11 November from 7-9pm in Stiefel Hall
Join us for the fifth concert of the Chamber Music Festival Concert Series, in which we will be exploring the music of Bach, Haydn, Mozart, and Beethoven! From brass ensembles through string quartets, this night will explore the range of music of our most cherished early composers.
Europe in the 1800s: From Rossini through Debussy
Tuesday, 12 November from 7-9:30pm in Stiefel Hall
In the sixth concert of the Chamber Music Festival Concert Series, we will hear some of the most famous music by Rossini, Schubert, Brahms, Mendelssohn, and even one of Debussy’s earliest works. From piano duets, to brass ensembles, to a sextet for piano and strings featuring our own viola faculty member John Pickford Richards, this night will explore all kinds of chamber ensembles!
Music of the 20th- and 21st-Century: Night 2
Wednesday, 13 November from 7-9pm in Stiefel Hall
Join us for our second night of a special showcase on modern music, in which we will hear music written from well-known composers, music written and coached by our own esteemed faculty composition faculty member Joan La Barbara, and even music by our own students! This night will be a special treat, in which we will be utilizing prepared piano techniques, audio technology paired with acoustic instruments, and more!
Grand Finale
Thursday, 14 November from 7-10pm in Stiefel Hall
In our grand finale of the inaugural Chamber Music Festival Concert Series, we will hear the most diverse night of music of the festival: featuring music for brass, winds, pianos, and strings, students in standard ensembles and in mixed ensembles, repertoire spanning from duos to septets, and even a special performance by our new Assistant Professor of Chamber Music, Daniel Panner, this night will be a jam-packed celebration of chamber music as a whole.
