The Commons & Open Cooperativism
Speakers: Vangelis Papadimitropoulos and Astha Kapoor
Discussant: Nana Nwachukwu
For cooperators, policymakers, cooperative management students, and cooperative leaders across sectors — plus the Solidarity-AI-curious (you know who you are).
About the series:
Artificial intelligence is increasingly discussed in the cooperative sector, often without a clear understanding of how these systems work or what their adoption entails. This event series provides concise, accessible education to support more informed decision-making around AI in cooperatives.
Designed for cooperative leaders and students across sectors, the sessions move beyond hype to examine AI through a cooperative lens, with attention to governance, ownership, labor, and values-aligned use. The series combines a clear, structured discourse with space for continued dialogue and sector-wide learning, supporting responsible and strategic engagement with AI across the cooperative movement.
Presented by PCC Global, PCC Thailand, and the International Centre for Cooperative Management at Saint Mary’s University.
