Join us for an engaging conversation and Q&A with Jim Moore, GQ Creative Director At Large and author of Hunks and Heroes: Four Decades of Fashion at GQ. With a career spanning over four decades, Jim has shaped the magazine’s signature style through collaborations with renowned photographers, designers, and celebrities. Starting as an assistant in 1980, he rose to Fashion Director, Creative Director, and now Creative Director-at-Large, revolutionizing men’s fashion along the way. He’s styled models, movie stars, musicians, and even US presidents, always keeping the reader in mind. Jim is currently the Fashion Director of Todd Snyder and has worked with brands like Canali, Woolrich, Louis Vuitton, Brandon Maxwell for Walmart, KITH, Uniqlo, and Hugo Boss. He is also the personal stylist for tennis star Roger Federer.
Jim will be joined by Ivan Shaw, Corporate Photography Director at Condé Nast and former Photography Director of Vogue, who now oversees the US Condé Nast Archive and serves as Visuals Editor for The World of Interiors. While overseeing photography for Vogue during one of its most successful periods, Ivan also contributed to numerous books and exhibitions, including Extreme Beauty in Vogue and Vogue: The Editor’s Eye.

Creative Director Jim Moore has spent virtually his entire career—40 years—with GQ. His sharp eye, solid reputation, and creative influence have helped develop the magazine‘s signature style as it has evolved through the years. Moore has collaborated with many of the world‘s most talented photographers, designers, and celebrities to produce distinctive, cutting-edge fashion pages.
