Join us for an inspiring talk and presentation with Anyango Mpinga, a Kenyan-born circular fashion designer, artist, and founder of Free As A Human, a nonprofit that supports survivors of human trafficking and women in communities facing displacement and environmental challenges.
Anyango’s work is deeply rooted in heritage, healing, and human dignity. Her designs and projects have been featured in Vogue, Elle, CNN, WWD, and Forbes, and she has spoken at the United Nations and served on the advisory committee for the UN Fashion and Lifestyle Network. She was also honored as one of ten women global leaders by the Conscious Fashion Campaign with her profile featured on the NASDAQ billboard at Times Square.
During this event, Anyango will debut a short film (10–15 min) created in collaboration with grassroots communities worldwide, followed by a solo presentation and Q&A.
This is a unique opportunity to explore themes of justice, sustainability, and collective resilience in fashion, while connecting with a global leader shaping the future of ethical fashion.
