Join us for a conversation bringing together faculty, students, and critical voices to explore how artificial intelligence is shaping fashion design, creative practice, and education.

The panel will explore the future of Parsons Fashion education in an AI-driven landscape, beginning not with the technology itself, but with what makes a Parsons Fashion education distinctive: systems thinking, human-centered design, materiality, experimentation, sustainability, innovation, and the ability to challenge existing models of fashion and production. The conversation will ask what kinds of designers and thinkers we want to cultivate, and how AI might support, expand, or challenge that vision. 

Together, we will consider what we should preserve, rethink, and imagine as AI becomes increasingly embedded in creative practice and education; including questions of critical thinking, authorship, creativity, research, and design development. Ultimately, the discussion will help generate the questions, perspectives, and principles that can inform thoughtful guidelines for the use of AI in design and written work across Parsons Fashion, while laying the groundwork for future workshops, symposiums, and broader industry conversations.
