Graduating students will be granted up to four guest tickets to the University Ceremony, which must be claimed by the priority deadline on Friday, April 3. After that date, any unclaimed tickets will be made available, with details on that process to be shared in the weeks to come. 

 
The ceremony is expected to conclude at approximately 7:30 PM.

Between Thursday, May 14 and Sunday, May 17, each college will host special recognition ceremonies on or near campus. It is at these ceremonies that graduating students will cross the stage and be honored individually by name.

Students graduating from the BA/BFA program will be invited to attend ceremonies for both of their degrees.

Commencement refers to the ceremonial event at which we celebrate students who earn their degrees, but graduation is the culmination of your years of work at The New School. The Registrar's office oversees the conferral of degrees and other administrative processes related to graduation.
