Join the Critical History Today lecture series on October 12 for a lecture with Michael Ralph, Associate Professor at the School of Medicine at New York University and a Visiting Fellow at the Heilbroner Center for Capitalism Studies. Ralph and Sarah Balakrishnan, John Clegg, and Ben Wiggins discuss the methods, theory, and historiography informing their National Science Foundation-funded research into the transatlantic slave trade and the insurance industry, especially the role of Lloyds of London. They will also reflect on some preliminary findings.
