"The Plum Serenade" is an interdisciplinary performing art that integrates live flower arrangement, musical instrument performances, and contemporary dance. It aims to resonate with and inspire people from diverse backgrounds, reminding us of the universal presence of loneliness. I hope that each participant can find solace, inspiration, and strength in the enduring spirit of plum blossoms. Plum blossoms symbolize resilience, hope, and renewal; in Taiwan, they are the national flower, carrying special significance. These symbolic meanings evoke deep emotional resonance in people.

For Spring 2024, I have been curating a series of events through my DIY Events group, Mudhouse. The event series is intended to be a case-study that examines the interdependence of a DIY music scene and its ability to thrive in non-commercial spaces. Each event showcases various aspects necessary for grassroots autonomy i.e. equitable payment structure, team building, community outreach, etc. These ideas are expanded on with discussion at each event.
