The Office of the University Ombuds in collaboration with the Faculty Center and Academic Advising presents Active Bystander Intervention Training sharing strategies to help bystanders take an active role in addressing bias, subtle acts of exclusion, and microaggressions. This workshop is about equipping ourselves with effective tools so that, in those moments, we can move from feeling stuck to taking small but meaningful actions that directly address such behaviors, de-escalate situations, shift unhealthy norms, and build a more just and inclusive community.
