The Milano School of Policy, Management, and Environment and the Julien J. Studley Graduate Programs in International Affairs will host a special recognition ceremony for their graduates. Students will be recognized individually by name, and are invited to attend with their guests.* A reception will follow the ceremony. Registration gives guests access to both the recognition ceremony and the reception.Â
This event is now being held at Marble Collegiate Church, located at 1 W. 29th Street at the Northwest corner of 5th Avenue.

*The recognition ceremony will be livestreamed for those who are unable to attend in person. The livestream will be available on this page on the day of the event. No registration is necessary for guests attending via livestream. All registrations prior to our relocation to Marble Collegiate will still be honored.

GRADUATING STUDENTS: Please note that caps and gowns are not required to participate in this recognition ceremony. However, caps and gowns are required to participate in University Commencement.Â
If you also plan to attend University Commencement, please register separately for yourself and your guests on the University Commencement website. To order your cap and gown, please visit the Commencement website.Â
Effective February 23, 2023, event guests and/or visitors to the New School are no longer required to provide proof of up-to-date vaccination or negative result from a PCR test and do not need to use the CLEAR app to present their vaccination status. Wearing a mask is recommended but not required on campus.
During commencement events, guests who are arriving to on-campus ceremonies without their graduating student will be permitted to enter if they are on the RSVP list. At all other times, all guests and visitors must have their host present when they are signed in with Campus Safety in line with existing university policy. All students, staff and faculty must use their New School ID card to access campus buildings.

For Commencement at USTA:
Proof of vaccination or negative test will not be required for entry to this event. Guests and visitors are expected to be both symptom-free as well as either vaccinated against COVID-19 or have a recent negative test. Masks are encouraged.Â
