Wes Jackson is currently the President of BRIC Arts & Media, a multidisciplinary arts and media institution anchored in Downtown Brooklyn that has shaped the cultural and media landscape for over 45 years. Wes has over 25 years of experience as a leader and innovator in entertainment and academia. He previously taught at Emerson College, where he served as Director of the Business of Creative Enterprise Program and Senior Executive In Residence. Prior to that, he taught at CUNY-York College.
An accomplished entrepreneur, Wes founded and, along with his wife, Ebonie, ran the Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival, a world-class event to honor and preserve Hip-Hop music and culture. His career began producing concerts for Nas, The Roots, The Dave Matthews Band, The Fugees, and A Tribe Called Quest. He then went on to start his own record label and marketing firm, Seven Heads Entertainment, which helped launch the careers of Yasiin Bey (Mos Def), Talib Kweli, El-P (Run The Jewels), Common, and others.
Wes has consulted for ABC’s ‘Soul Of A Nation’, Jazz At Lincoln Center, MTV, Grammy Camp, and VH1. Outside of arts and culture, Wes has a passion for lacrosse and coaching. He is a co-founder and Board Chair of The Brooklyn Crescents Lacrosse Club, one of the longest running youth and High School lacrosse programs in New York City.
Wes holds an undergraduate degree in English from the University of Virginia and a Master's degree in Media Studies from The New School. A proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., he lives in Brooklyn with his wife and their three children.

BK Fulton is a modern renaissance man. He believes in authentic expression, high integrity, and moral leadership. While many know him as the former President of Verizon, since his retirement in 2015, BK has turned full media mogul producing more than 20 films, 19 books, and four number one Broadway shows including The Piano Lesson with Samuel L. Jackson, John David Washington and Danielle Brooks. The play was nominated for two Tonys and remains the highest grossing Broadway revival of all time.
He is currently a team member for the 2024 Broadway revivals of The Wiz and The Outsiders (nominated for 12 Tonys, winning 4, including Best Musical). His Mr. Business children’s books are being considered for a movie and HBO Max and Warner Brothers have released a documentary about his MoviePass business venture, entitled MoviePass, MovieCrash.
BK and his wife - Jackie Stone - are also philanthropists giving to causes that develop and expose young entrepreneurs to leaders from around the globe. A native of Hampton, VA, BK is a proud graduate of Virginia Tech, Harvard and the New School as a Sloan Fellow, and New York Law School. He is also a Smithsonian Laureate Medal winner, a Business Leaders History Maker, winner of a Nonfiction National Book Award, the Renaissance Award in media and winner of the Oscar Micheaux Award for Excellence in Film Making.
BK sits on several boards including, TowneBank, the Library of Virginia, Advantage Testing Foundation, Lewis Latimer House Museum, The National Center of Women’s Innovations, and the Richard Hunt Legacy Foundation.
His professional memberships include the Producers Guild of America (PGA), the Writers Guild of America, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, the Alpha Beta Boule, the Executive Leadership Council, and the Business Leaders Hall of Fame.
Dan Tishman is a Principal and the Chairman of Tishman, a privately held real estate and investments business based in New York with roots dating back to 1898. He is the Chairman of the Board of Montefiore Medicine, one of the largest healthcare systems in the Northeast; is a founding member and Vice Chairman of the World Trade Center Memorial and Museum; is the former Chairman of the Natural Resources Defense Council; is the current Chairman of the Conservation Fund and chairs the Compensation Committee of AECOM, a NYSE company. Dan and his wife Sheryl established the NorthLight Foundation, which works on environmental justice, land conservation, and climate-related issues. Dan and Sheryl live in Port Clyde, Maine.
Susan L. Foote has a life-long passion for history, culture, politics, art,
music, and innovative education. Her decades-long involvement with The
New School is indicative of her practice of steadfast and engaged
participation in the institutions she supports. She has served as a member
of The New School for Social Research Board of Governors since 2002 and
has been the Chair since 2009, and as member of The New School Board of
Trustees since 2007. Through her leadership on the Academic Affairs
Committee, membership on the Committee on Trusteeship, and service on
two University Search Committees, Susan has gained deep familiarity with
the strengths and challenges of this unique institution over the years.
In 2015, Susan was a founding supporter of NSSR’s Institute for Critical Social
Inquiry, a prime example of The New School’s unique brand of ground-
breaking scholarship. Susan has enjoyed hosting TNS faculty and
supporters for evenings of “cocktails and conversation,” to cultivate mutual
familiarity and appreciation among the TNS community.
At Santa Fe’s School for Advanced Research, an independent institution
founded in 1907 supporting research in anthropology and related
disciplines to foster a better understanding of humankind, Susan served on
the Board of Directors for more than twenty-five years, which included
involvement with SAR’s Indian Arts Research Center. She has served as a
member of the New Mexico Museum Board of Regents; and as a trustee at
the Brooklyn Academy of Music, the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival, and
the artist-centered SITE Santa Fe, an international, interdisciplinary
contemporary art institution. She also serves as a trustee of her family’s
SLF Foundation, which supports a wide range of organizations and causes
in New Mexico, Texas, and across the northeast.
Brad’s love affair with fashion began at age 12 when he picked up his first Vogue magazine and became mesmerized by its pages. During summer breaks while attending the University of Southern California, Brad interned in the New York offices of Vogue and W magazines. After graduating with a B.A. in Art History, he landed a position as the Vogue West Coast assistant. In 2008, he began working for Rachel Zoe, and was eventually featured in the popular series The Rachel Zoe Project.
Currently serving as Exclusive Brand Stylist for Kate Spade New York, Brad has traveled around the world styling print and online ad campaigns, as well as all fashion presentations at New York Fashion Week.
Additionally, Brad’s A-list clients are a fixture on “Best Dressed” lists for every occasion. His past clients include Jessica Alba, Christina Ricci, Stacy Keibler, Demi Moore, Minka Kelly, and Rashida Jones, among others. Brad and his work have been featured in a number of publications, some of which include InStyle, Details, OUT, BlackBook and LA Confidential. Additionally, he has appeared on Good Morning America several times.
Brad’s knack for being an on-air personality has served him well, as he was host of the American Music Awards red carpet in 2012, as well as a judge for the Miss Universe pageant that same year.
