With more than three decades of leadership in fashion and retail, Joe has guided some of the industry’s most recognized global brands. He served as President and Chief Executive Officer of The Warnaco Group—home to Calvin Klein, Speedo, Chaps and Warners. He also served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Brooks Brothers. His career has included senior roles at Saks Fifth Avenue, Limited Brands, and Ann Taylor, as well as board service with Tumi, Guess, Wolverine World Wide, and The Children’s Place.

 
Together with his wife, Gail, Joe helped build Fashion Business & Management at The New School from creating the MPS Fashion Management program to launching the Parsons Gromek Institute for Business. In conversation with MPS leadership, Joe will share the decisions and lessons that shaped his career, including how to focus a brand, lead through change, and pair creative vision with commercial judgment.
